"Vapor material" is a project started in 2020. The point was to make a game on RPG Maker about vaporwave.
I wanted the graphics to be made of pre-renderd 3D-models and learned to use Blender for this. Here are some assets :
Heavy inspiration was the game Hylics and its original graphics, transcending the tiled format imposed by RPG Maker :
The project was too ambitious and thus abandoned.
Main reason was that despite having a clear vision of the style and aesthetic, the project was too vague in term of narrative, world building and game-design.
In fact, I realized these specific aspects of game making were quite not for me. What I wanted to create was just a vibe you know, not a big story with a complex universe and combat system.
